Welo offers clothing products that are entirely sourced from plastic pollution that threaten the world’s oceans. The use of this material gives customers an option to have a high quality set of clothes that also protects our environment. The materials that Welo uses are all pure and high in quality, and have been sourced from ocean-bound and nearshore plastic pollution. This pollution has the potential to be very harmful to wildlife and people alike. Consumers who want to help protect the environment will love our products.
Our Mission
Welo strives to reduce plastic pollution in our oceans by selling clothing and accessories using plastic sourced from ocean-bound and nearshore plastic pollution. Welo also aims to provide an alternative to fast-fashion clothing to aid in the planet's plastic pollution crisis
About Us
Welo was founded in 2022 by a group of High School students in Cary, Illinois. We wanted clothes from a company that cares about our oceans. Since there were no retailers that provided us with the satisfaction of wearing attractive clothing that is safe for our environment, we decided to do something about it! Our team decided to make an eco-conscious clothing line using recycled plastic that turns into athleisure wear. As we grow our company we want to get our clothes into as many closets as possible, because the more people that buy from us, the healthier our planet can be!
